About The Garden Of The Gods Resort Wedding Venue
3320 Mesa Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904
Dating back to 1951, Garden of the Gods Resort has always been dedicated to curating an unforgettable experience for their clients. Decades ago the founder, Al Hill, found himself staring out at the view one day and realizing he never, ever wanted to leave. He worked with his wife to create a luxury resort where people could come, take in those same views, and have a vacation they would treasure for years to come. What began as an intimate members-only club, offering a secluded afternoon retreat, quickly evolved into a sought-after destination. Soon, movie stars, musicians, artists, authors, and politicians proudly claimed membership. The center switched hands in 2007 and soon after ditched the idea of exclusive membership, offering experiences for anyone who sought them. Today, you can book a trip and reconnect with nature in a brand new way!

Details of the Grounds
When you book your wedding at the Garden of the Gods resort, get ready for a day you will never want to forget. The hotel offers the very latest accommodations while still embracing the original midcentury modern design. No matter what you have in mind for your celebration, they will have a spot that is perfectly tailored to you.

The morning of your wedding, you can wake up in your hotel room and start to get ready in your private cottage. The resort’s on-site salon is home to experienced professionals who specialize in creating your perfect wedding-day style, allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment without ever leaving the property.

For your ceremony, you are going to have your choice of fabulous spots. One of my favorites is the Reflection Pool. With this choice, you will be able to seat up to 220 guests on either side of the water. You will exchange your vows on the edge with the red rocks just behind you and the mountains rolling in the distance. Trust me, the pictures are going to be positively legendary! If you would prefer a spot away from the water, just let the venue know, and they will help you find the ideal spot.

Once it’s time for your cocktail hour, your guests can head back over to the resort, where they can enjoy drinks on one of the four terraces. As they have cocktails with a view, you can spend some time with your photographer exploring the grounds and finding different backdrops.
Stunning Wedding Receptions At Garden Of The Gods Resort
Finally, it will be time for your reception. The venue has a total of seven rooms with flexible options that will give you up to 12,000 square feet. View at Kissing Camels tends to be a favorite for couples. This space is able to host up to 185 guests and offers floor-to-ceiling windows that let in the view. The decor in this hall is very simple with a light palette that will easily work with your color schemes. There is also a built-in wooden cocktail bar at the back where your guests can order drinks throughout the evening.

Another amazing option is the Three Graces Ballroom, where you can fit up to 220 guests for a seated reception. This unique spot features an outdoor terrace with fire and water features that will elevate the atmosphere. Lastly, intimate weddings will adore The Hill Room. This area stays true to the midcentury modern era with rounded stone walls and floor-to-ceiling windows where you can see the natural landmarks. This room can accommodate up to 60 guests.
Photography Opportunities
At Garden of the Gods Resort, you are going to have access to some exceptional wedding backdrops. The hotel suites feature private balconies overlooking the mountains. This makes the ideal spot to get some candid pictures with your wedding party. Outside, the reflection pool is a jaw-dropping spot for your first look pics. You will get the tranquil reflection in the water, as well as the mountains and the red rocks. For group portraits, I recommend using the terrace, where you will have a flat and accessible spot for all of your wedding party members. Finally, once it’s time for your individual couples’ portraits, I recommend journeying out along the hotel property, where you can find unforgettable views.

Wedding Details
Beyond giving you a magnificent spot for your wedding, Gardens of the Gods will ensure you have everything necessary for a seamless day. Well before your day arrives, their team will work with you to create a menu for your perfect meal. You can opt for butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, a plated 2-3 course dinner, and a cake-cutting service. The hotel will provide you with a room throughout the weekend, and you can book blocks for your guests. They can also handle the setup as well as the takedown, so you can just focus on having the best day ever!
