As guests first filed into the doors of the Broadmoor Hotel and wedding venue on June 29, 1918, the delicate pink paint was far from the only thing on their minds. Right from the beginning, every corner of the hotel had been expertly decorated and furnished with pieces hand-selected by Julie Penrose, the wife of the founder, Spencer Penrose. In addition to the world-class resort, the couple had modernized the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, established the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and laid over 75 miles of horseback trails. Safe to say this hotel has always been about the experience as well as the stay.

Fish House: The Fish House is perfect if you want an intimate ceremony, as it is able to hold up to 24 guests. Graceful willow trees frame it along the water’s edge and feature a charming dock where you can stand above the lake for your vows.
Cheyenne Lodge Terrace: This venue is able to host up to 250 guests while giving you some of the best views of the Rocky Mountains as well as Colorado Springs.
The Estate House Lawn: If you plan to use The Estate House for your wedding, this is the spot for you! The manor features a back lawn complete with lush gardens. This area is able to hold up to 200 guests.
West Tower Lawn: For those who want to have a truly legendary wedding, this is the ideal place. The area is surrounded by pine, maple, and cherry trees while keeping the hotel prominently in view. You can host up to 1,000 guests in this location.
Pauline Chapel: If you are looking for an indoor space, I think you will love this option. Modeled after early Christian basilicas, this Spanish Colonial Revival chapel is able to host up to 100 guests.
